Ava East is a Detroit-based multidisciplinary artist and musician specializing in fine arts, illustration, and performance. Immersed in both visual and sonic pursuits, she carves a path between, projecting a self-mystified vision. Her work is whimsical and inquisitive, focusing on themes of identity, femininity, and recital. Outside of her personal work, Ava collaborates with creative peers providing visual content and creative direction. She received her BFA from Wayne State University in 2019, and divides her time between touring, commissions, and studio work.
